Madewell has always made shopping for jeans easier, and luckily for us, they’re not about to rest on their design laurels. Among the classic skinny jeans and straight-leg jeans are several newer, trendier styles, and the brand just added an important one: Baggy Straight Jeans.
For those who prefer baggy jeans that aren’t too baggy, and don’t want to switch over to low-rise jeans (even though the trend is getting hard to ignore), this style has a classic high-rise fit but it’s perfectly slouchy and loose. The jeans are 100% cotton but I can assure you that even Madewell’s rigid cotton jeans are very comfortable (did I mention I’ve tried a lot of Madewell jeans?).
The Baggy Straight Jeans come in three washes, including a classic blue denim one that I’m leaning toward and two ripped styles. Each is only $98, and they come in sizes 23 to 28W, and three different inseams. Now do you see why they’ll be my next denim purchase?
