Well, in a recent interview with IndieWire, John Krasinski opened up about his ideal reboot situation and, honestly, where’s the kickstarter already? Let’s Veronica Mars the heck out of this because it sounds fantastic.
He told the magazine, “I think the UK thing that I always have pitched and wanted to do is that Christmas special thing, where we do a Christmas special this year and then two years from now, or three years from now, we do another one.”

“I love that idea coming back finding out where everybody is. I would totally be down for that.”
“I don’t think anybody in our show sees that we didn’t end it the way we wanted to end it. We’re one of the very lucky shows that got to end when we wanted to, how we wanted to.”

“So I don’t know how exciting it would be to do a run of the show, ’cause you don’t want to retread old things and have people not be as excited about it as they are now.”

John’s been open about his willingness to reprise his role as America’s husband Jim Halpert, but this whole Christmas special thing actually seems very doable!! Aka, MAKE THIS HAPPEN, NBC!
