J. Prince: Me & Jay-Z Are Close To Closing Megan Thee Stallion Deal

After months and months of back and forths, J Prince says that he and Roc Nation boss Jay-Z are close to closing their deal over Megan Thee Stallion.

Meg fell out with 1501 Entertainment after she tried to negotiate her contract but they refused. They then attempted to prevent her from releasing music — but a judge sided with Meg.

“Me and the homie Jay-Z spoke last week on the last point of closing that deal. He and I, you know, I think we was on the phone for 2 minutes but we was in agreement with reaching the last deal points,” told The Breakfast Club. “I’m looking for that to be wrapped up.”

J Prince also confirmed that the contract does not mean that Meg will be walking away from 1501.

“Everything will be smooth. She’s still with 1501, you know, slash 300. And Roc Nation is managing her,” he continued.

Meg has not spoken out about the new deal.
