I’m Shopbop’s Fashion Director—These Are the Fall Trends I Stand Behind

The fall collections have been dropping at our go-to brands and sites over the last few weeks. While we’ve already been recommending a variety of chic pieces from Shopbop’s autumn assortment across our content, the retailer just launched its autumn edit. And yep, there’s a range of top-notch pieces included in the mix.

Shopbop’s fashion director, Caroline Maguire, actually shared some further insights. “This season is all about layers upon layers and I am here for it. Whether it’s a perfect earth tone nubby novelty knit paired with a flared jean or a romantic shirtdress styled with an exaggerated lug sole, I am so excited for the endless opportunities this season,” Maguire said. “I am most excited for the return of the plaid trend with the grunge-inspired prints in tartans and buffalo checks. I will style my plaid outfits with a toughened-up boot for an edgy yet elevated look.”

You can check out the key trends Maguire and her team are standing behind for fall in the edit here. We also pulled out some of our favorite pieces below for a little shopping inspiration if you’re ready to prep that fall wardrobe.
