As a modest dresser, fall just so happens to be my favorite season. While my summer consisted of breezy dresses and linen galore, the upcoming season gives me a lot more options. Because of the large variety, I’ve found myself getting a bit carried away in the past by reaching for every trend that I can. Over the years I’ve tapped into the potential of my personal style and have taken a slightly more minimal approach to plan my wardrobe. That’s not to say I won’t be dabbling in a few trends this season—there are a definitely few ones that have certainly been high on my radar. (Pastels, lace details, and biker-style clothing, to name a few.) But to keep myself in check for fall, I’ve made myself a wardrobe checklist of pieces I’ll be prioritizing this season as a modest dresser.
