I have been living in New York City for four summers now, and every year when I’m making my vision board for the season ahead, I add photos of white-linen outfits, hydrangea bushes, and friends toasting with rosé in one hand and a lobster roll in the other. This summer, all of my Hamptons manifestations came to fruition, and suddenly, my July calendar was filling up with weekends out East. The first thing on my Hamptons agenda was attending Palm Tree Music Festival with my friends while staying at Montauk Yacht Club. Trust me—the property is as chic as you imagine. It’s a darling New England yacht club with a stunning bar and fire pits in the back of the property where you can see the water, but it still feels like an upscale hotel.
Once my agenda is fully finalized, my mind goes to outfit planning. One doesn’t simply dust off something in the back of their closet for the first Hamptons weekend of the summer, especially while staying at the Montauk Yacht Club. These outfits had to be some of my best work—I’m talking next-level good. I wanted my looks to have that New England cottagecore vibe but still feel very elevated and fresh. Alice + Olivia, Frankies Bikinis, Lack of Color, Charo Ruiz, and other brands came to the rescue to help me plan five perfect looks for everything from dining at the yacht club’s restaurant to listening to Kygo at Palm Tree Music Festival.

I took this photo right off my outdoor patio at Montauk Yacht Club (yes, there are rooms that go right from your patio to the beach) while sipping on a spritz before heading to my first music festival. When I think “music festival fashion” and “Hamptons fashion,” the two don’t exactly go together seamlessly. So I opted for this crochet minidress from Frankies Bikinis for a summery yet concert-ready vibe and added this seashell-detail sun hat and raffia heels to make the look feel very Hamptons.
I sported this cashmere sweater with white jeans at an event for a gin company in Southampton. The weather for the day was a little chilly with gray skies, but that didn’t mean I was going to sacrifice a great outfit. This look still feels summery, and pairing your favorite white jeans with a neutral sweater is the perfect way to get that quiet-luxury look that we all can’t get enough of. I was going for the rich-mom vibe—how did I do?
This dress carried me from a Fourth of July–themed day party to dinner to a night out with my friends while seamlessly fitting into each setting. I got so many compliments on this Charo Ruiz dress. I was having way too much fun getting a better picture of it than the one featured above, but if you (like me) are obsessed with a good white minidress, look no further.
Once I knew I was going to be spending the weekend at the Montauk Yacht Club, I knew I needed a dress that would stand out above the rest. I wanted something simple, chic, elevated, and still a bit sexy. Enter this stunning halter-neck dress from Alice + Olivia that I styled with these seashell earrings and a Bottega clutch. This may have been my favorite Hamptons look so far.
Before heading back to the city, I spent my last moments at the Yacht Club laying by the pool before grabbing a lobster roll and hopping on the train back. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to wear my Baywatch-inspired one-piece from the Frankies Bikinis x Pamela Anderson collaboration and, of course, a sun hat.
