I’ll Admit I’m a Candle Snob—I Would Immediately Repurchase These 11

No matter what time it is in the day, I enjoy having a candle lit. I’ll use any occasion to light one—from taking a bath to trying to get rid of the lingering scent of a cooking attempt, and even when I’m writing a story like I am right now. While candles are small in size, it’s a simple product that can act as a large form of escapism for your home.

My husband also happens to be a bit of a candle snob, so it’s hard to not leave a shop without a new candle addition in hand. After burning through a more-than-average number of candles in the past year, I decided to round up my favorites so you won’t have to buy as many candles as I did to find the best of the best.

Whether you’re a fan of fruity and floral fragrances or musky and woodsy smells—you’re bound to find an option in this list below. Me and my husband both have different preferences, so I don’t keep to one category. Keep scrolling to find your pick.

When I first smelled this candle in Nordstrom, I knew I had to take it home immediately. I know that most people are fans of Boy Smells’ Kush candle, but I have to say I prefer the fruitiness of this one.

As one of my first luxury candles, this did not disappoint. While small in size, it didn’t take long for the scent of lovely floral notes.

As someone who grew up in a household where my mom was almost always making chai, this candle holds a special spot in my heart. Even if you didn’t grow up around the scent of chai, you’ll still love having the aroma of rose and cardamom in your house.

I think it’s nearly impossible for me to walk out of Target without a candle, especially an Opalhouse one. Target’s variety proves that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to find a candle of top-quality.

You can’t go wrong with Le Labo, and Santal 26 will fill your home with warm and spicy notes of amber, cocoa, vanilla, cedar, spices, musk, and sandalwood.

The strongest scent of roses I’ve ever seen in a candle.

Another great affordable option that creates the perfect scent balance between spice and florals.

Although a recent addition, it’s become one of my favorites.

Most favorited candles almost always have notes of sandalwood, so why not opt for one that has it as it’s main scent?

If you want to feel like you’re taking a stroll through a lush forest, this is the candle for you.

When you can’t go to the beach, let the beach come to you.
