Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items .
Not to be dramatic, but I could really use a vacation right about now. Between work and social commitments, setting my automatic OOO email reply and booking it out of town has never sounded better. I currently have five summer trips planned to various destinations from Mexico to The Hamptons. Are you sensing a beach theme, or what?
I don’t claim to be an expert packer, but my eagerness to travel has had me preparing my vacation wardrobe well ahead of time. Here’s everything I’ll be wearing on my summer trips, including the perfect linen pants, the most versatile midi dress , and the carry-on I’ll be putting everything in. And if you want an even closer look, watch the livestream where I shared (and tried on!) all of these items.
I can’t get over the versatility of this dress . I’ll wear it as a pool cover-up with boat shoes or sandals during the day and with heels and statement earrings at night.
A raffia bag is a must this summer. I’ll wear this one back home in Los Angeles, too.
The platform gives these flip-flops a much more elevated look.
It wouldn’t be a summer vacation wardrobe without a Reformation dress , now would it? This cute mini is under $100.
This carry-on bag will be my best friend this summer. It surprisingly fits so much and has a charging pack, so my phone won’t die en route to my destination (for once).
Wear with a swimsuit or sundress. There are no rules.
I always reach for colorful accessories when wearing neutral outfits on vacation.
I have these pants in every color for a reason.
Another good statement bag that’s begging to be worn near a beautiful beach.
This highlighter gives me the perfect sun-kissed glow.
This shimmery, hot-pink bikini is so fun for summer vacations. Plus, the fit is amazing. Shop the matching Byron Bottom ($79).
If there’s a matching cover-up, I’m buying it.
The thick fabric detailing on this basic tank is so cool.
I’m packing these two-tone earrings so no matter what silver or gold jewelry I’m wearing, they’ll match.
If you can only fit one pair of heels in your carry-on, it should be these. They go with everything and are comfy, too.
FYI, Reformation makes handbags now, and they’re chic AF.
Maybe it’s because I’m in my late 20s, but I’ve been gravitating toward longer, baggier denim shorts.
A summer staple and an excuse to plan a boat day.
I have this $80 midi dress in chocolate brown, but I’m eyeing the black and pink, too.
A fun pop of color.
Start using this a week before a beach vacation, and thank me after.
The crochet trend is one of my favorites this summer, so this dress is a must.
This set is perfect to wear on the plane and then straight to the beach (which is my preferable way to arrive at my destination). Shop the matching Boxer Cotton Shorts ($89).
These are the perfect linen pants, and I won’t be arguing my case any further.
I’ve been wearing these daily, so I’ll pack them on vacation, too.
Meet my summer going-out top.
I’ve been using this lip balm in various shades every single day for about a year now. This peachy-pink one is set to be my most used this summer.
Yes, I’m that girl who works out on vacation. (Or at least I’m that girl who takes cute pics on the tennis court while on vacation.)
I love these textured gold hoops.
Sun protection and glowy, dewy skin all in one? Say less.
