I Can't Stop Thinking About Rochelle's Expensive-Looking New-Season Wardrobe

With a radar for high-qualityhigh-street garments that’s as fine-tuned as any fashion editor’sRochelle Humes is the underrated style icon I’ve been going to for inspiration for years. Able to scour the racks of Zara and River Island and come away with items that could pass for designer, I’ve long admired Humes’ expert styling and skilled attention to detail that lifts the feel of every outfit. Luckily for us, she doesn’t gatekeep. Her affordable outfits are often featured on her Instagram feed, which, for me, has now become a mood board of all the looks I’m eager to try this season. Able to whip up an outfit that looks like it came straight out of a Harrods bag, I’ve charted some of my favourite recent looks from the singer and TV host, along with where to shop her style.

Read on to discover my favourite looks from the unsung style hero, and shop her expert picks below.

Style Notes: Spotted this month on Victoria Beckham, draped dresses and are a growing trend this season for their flattering, sculpting skills. The thoughtful pleat details and clever wrap effect will you have looking and feeling like a Grecian goddess. Wear your hair in a loose bun and style with plenty of jewels for the full effect. Can you believe this one is from River Island?

Earthy brown tones were all over the autumn/winter runways, and have now seeped onto the high street as well. The universally flattering tone and expensive-looking cut will have you reaching for this dress at any opportunity.

Pointed-toe court shoes are back up there as the the high-heel style to never be without.

Style Notes: For a preppy effect, Humes styles her cream Zara cardigan neatly buttoned up to the top for a winter-ready ensemble that comprises two of our favourite cold-weather ingredients: denim and wool. Shop the perfect cropped cardigan from high-street hero Zara, and her high-waisted, dark-wash jeans from Agolde below.

This beautiful milky shade is so easy to dress up with a splash of colour.

In my opinion, these are the perfect high-waisted jeans.

Style Notes: I can’t be the only one who thinks there’s no garment chicer than a sleeveless, high-neck black dress. Styled to perfection with red ballet flats from Jacquemus, Humes kept her look clean and elegant with minimal accessories.

Style this black midi dress with warm tights and a wool coat all winter long.

Whilst Humes wore a pair of ballet flats from Jacquemus, this high-street style will fit the bill for a chic pop of red.

Style Notes: Ever a fan of the sleeveless silhouette, Humes styled Zara’s high-neck, seam-detail dress with black ballet flats and a single bracelet. For its understated and luxurious quality, grey is a trending tone this season that I’ll be shopping in this classic cut.

Follow Humes’ lead and style with black ballet flats, or dress it up with pointed-toe heels and oversized silver earrings.

Style Notes: Ankle-skimming skirts and draped tops are two big (and easy) trends for winter 2023. Here, Humes’ This Morning stylist Amber Jackson  combines them to great effect just using elevated hig-street buys from Mint Velvet and Karen Millen.

The exact Karen Millen style is sold out, but this Reiss jumper puts a wintry spin on the idea.

Cargo skirts can work in the colder months—just add boots and knitwear.

Pointed-toe heels are a growing trend this season, and the block heel style on these will keep you comfortable all day.
