Houston FBI is currently investigating what took place at the Astroworld Festival, which resulted in 8 deaths and dozens injured.
“It is standard practice for the FBI to assist our local law enforcement partners if we have a tool, tactic, or technique that could benefit their investigations,” spokesperson, Brittany Garcia, told Fox News.
50,000 people attended the festival and more than 300 people were treated at a field hospital at the concert.
Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said in a statement that he had a “brief and respectful” meeting with Scott and the rapper’s head of security and that he asked them to work with the Fire Department.
“I expressed my concerns regarding public safety and that in my 31 years in law enforcement experience I have never seen a time with more challenges facing citizens of all ages, to include a global pandemic and social tension throughout the nation,” Finner said.
Travis Scott is facing multiple lawsuits and cancelation from social media fans.
