Hollywood comedy actor Owen Wilson has been accused of being a deadbeat by the father of his three-year-old daughter.
“He has never met her, unfortunately,” Varunie Vongsvirates told The Daily Mail.
She says that he does send money, but that’s all.
“He helps financially but it’s never been about that. Lyla needs a father. It’s ironic how [Owen] keeps getting these father roles, he’s playing a father in his new movie, and he’s never met his own daughter.” The pair dated for five years. After their daughter was born, a paternity test was taken to prove Lyla was his.
In a recent interview with Esquire, he speaks affectionately about his sons but does not mention his daughter. Wilson has an almost sqeaky clean image, but Varunie says that she has begged him to visit their daughter many times and he has not come to see her. She gave birth to their daughter alone.
