Get Ready: These 6 Street Style Trends Will Be Everywhere for Fall

While we’ve already created a fall trend guide based off of the runways, we decided to take it a step further and see which ones the street-style set were happy to champion on their way to the F/W 22 shows. Street style stars are always ahead of the game, so it’s safe to say what they wore a few months ago will definitely make it to the masses this fall. Despite the different styles and aesthetics across cities, show-goers managed to incorporate similar trends into their cold-weathered wardrobes. If a maximal dresser from Copenhagen and a neutrals-only fashion girl from Paris can agree on a trend, then you know it’s good.

There were plenty of noteworthy looks, but I’m especially interested in the trends that are already predicted to be on the rise for fall 2022. We invite you to keep scrolling to peruse some of the standout street style trends and shop them to prepare for the season ahead.

When I saw this look months ago, I was in awe, but also had no idea how much this specific color would blow up. (Thanks, Valentino) I certainly can’t get enough of it—bring on the pink overload.

In case you haven’t noticed, maxi hemlines have been a prevalent topic here at Who What Wear. If you’re a fan, you’ll be happy to know the trend’s continuing into the fall. This doesn’t mean we’re letting the midi and mini skirts behind—we’re just making room for them all.

We first mentioned the comeback of bomber jackets in the spring, but now that we’re talking about fall, it’s time to give them their maximal wear. Hello, jacket season!

I’ve pretty much replaced my everyday jeans with puddle pants, and the fashion set seems to agree. They’re relaxed and easy to wear but always look elevated.

I know what you’re thinking—animal prints never really go completely out of style, but the volume they’re worn in does fluctuate slightly. For now, expect a lot of animal print in the neat future.
