Fat Joe has given his opinions on the Joe Rogan controversy.
“Shoutout to everyone that’s better than me and taking their music off of Spotify, I’m not,” Fat Joe said. “And all my people they know [I’ll] do charity, will open a business in the hood and give out jobs, will give computers to the school, but got to get to [my] bag. I ain’t crazy.
“I’m not taking my music off Spotify, but Spotify is made up of Black music whether its R&B, whether its rap, trap, reggaeton, all that fall in there. Because our music is on that platform, and they make their money from Black people, do you think it should be allowed for a guy to be talking racist s*it on their platform?” he said.
Then a clip of Fat Joe’s old DJ Vlad interview popped up online.
“If they’ll like yo what’s up my n*gga oh sh*t you a racist. You know they ain’t really mean it racist … She’s saying what’s up my n*gga? You see what I’m saying? The craziest sh*t — I’m going to give you some breaking news — the craziest sh*t is Reverend Al Sharpton made a whole campaign against the word ‘n*gga,'” he said about non-Black people using the word.
