Ex-Disney star Kyle Massey, best known for his role as Cory Baxter in That’s So Raven and Cory in the House, is facing a felony charge in Washington state of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, according to court documents obtained by MTO News.
In 2019, Massey was sued in California by a then 13-year-old girl for allegedly sending explicit text messages, images and videos to her phone,. The case was later dismissed by the court on jurisdictional issues.
Well the little girl and her mother are still looking to get Kyle. They filed and obtained a felony charge in Seattle, Washington on June 14 – using the same accusations in the dismissed lawsuit.
In the complaint, the plaintiff alleged she met Massey at Universal Studios when she was 4 years old and stayed in touch because she wanted to pursue a career in entertainment.
She said that she reached out to Massey in November 2018 about auditioning for a role in a reboot of Cory in the House, and during subsequent conversations, he was informed that she was in eighth grade.
Well Kyle’s mother is claiming that Kyle is getting set up. And she’s making some explosive and uncorroborated accusations against the 13 year old girl’s mom.
When responding to the initial lawsuit, Kyle’s mom claimed that her son was being extorted by an ex-lover, the 13 year old girls mother.
Here’s what she said at the time:
“Kyle Massey was accused of sending an inappropriate picture of his penis to a minor,” she wrote. “The second image of this post FROM HER ATTORNEYS to me and Kylie dad clearly says KYLE SENT THE PICTURE TO Ms. ANDREAS. Her daughter last name is different! Kindra Andreas is a liar.”
And now she’s giving even more explicit details against the girl’s mom. Listen:
