After being called a liar by Tony Rock, Diddy denies he ever claimed Will Smith and Chris Rock had ended their feud.
“I never confirmed they had reconciled. I said, ‘As brothers, they will work it out, and let’s move on with love,” he said. “He knows people are hurting, and doesn’t want to become the middleman or take the focus off of the conflict moving forward in the right way.”
Diddy reportedly told Page Six, “That’s not a problem. That’s over. I can confirm that. It’s all love. They’re brothers.”
Chris Rock has not pressed charges against Will Smith.
“LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program,” a statement read from the LAPD. “The incident involved one individual slapping another. The individual involved has declined to file a police report. If the involved party desires a police report at a later date, LAPD will be available to complete an investigative report.”
