Former NBA player Delonte West was arrested for allegedly resisting arrest after banging on doors at a police department while intoxicated in Boynton Beach.
West was reportedly banging on glass doors at the Boynton Beach police department lobby while yelling obscenities. Reports also say that he was holding two open containers of alcohol.
West then walked away from police and was ordered to place his alcohol containers on the ground. After complying, the police reports states that he reached for his waistband. A cop then pulled out a Taser and West “continued to be belligerent and screaming profanities and obscure rants” while he was placed in a patrol car.

Police report that he reeked of alcohol and his speech was slurred. He was “resisting an officer without violence, disorderly intoxication and having an open container,” before being released from bail according to WPTV.
West has struggled with addiction and has made headlines before after falling off the wagon.
