Daniel Kaluuya Wasn’t Invited To The Premiere Of ‘Get Out’

Actor Daniel Kaluuya, who played the lead role in Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” movie, says he was not invited to the movie premiere.

“They didn’t invite me, bro,” Kaluuya told television host Graham Norton.

“I was in Atlanta shooting Panther [Black Panther]. I was chilling, I cleared my schedule. I was like, ‘I really wanna do it.’ And then just didn’t get the invite.” He added, “I wasn’t invited, so I was just in my bed,” he said with a laugh. “Someone texted me, ‘It’s done really well.'”

He did not push for an invite because he says he did not want to be somewhere he was not wanted.

“You don’t want to be in a place that you don’t feel wanted, you feel me?” he explained.

Peele has not responded to Kaluuya’s revelation. It’s hard to imagine the team would forget to invite one of the film’s most important characters.

Ya’ll think he was snubbed, or was this just an oversight?
