This month marks the 20 year anniversary of tragic death of iconic pop star Aaliyah’s, MTO News has learned. The gorgeous singer died in a plane crash following a video shoot in the Bahamas.
Hip hop mogul Damon Dash, who was Aaliyah’s boyfriend at the time, reveals new information concerning her death, an dit’s pretty interesting.
In an interview with ET’s Kevin Frazier, Dame claims that he told Aaliyah not to fly to the Bahamas to shoot a video with director Hype Williams because it was unnecessary and that she was immediately skeptical of the small plane booked for her travel.
Then Dame dropped a bomb.
MTO News heard Dame also claim thatLenny Kravitz sent a plane for Aaliyah, to safely get home. But according to Dame, Hype Williams took Lenny’s jet for himself and sent Aaliyah on the other plane that crashed.
