Earlier this week, two men and rapper DaBaby were questioned over a shooting in Miami.
DaBaby was questioned and released, but police charged
Wisdom Awute, a rapper who is part of DaBaby’s Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment label, and Christopher Urena in connection with the shooting.
Awute, 21, and Urena, 29, both face charges of attempted first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault. Urena also faces charges of grand theft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
One of the victims identified Wisdom as the man who shot him in his leg. Urena was caught trying to flee the scene of the shooting in a black Chrysler 300 but he claims that when he got in his car, a group of men pointed a gun at him and shot at him as he drove away. Police searched the vehicle and found a gun magazine in Urena’s bag. DaBaby has not spoken on the shooting.
