An attorney for Britney Spears has confirmed that the star will have a prenup.
Mathew Rosengart confirmed that Britney had an attorney draw up a prenuptial agreement ahead of her marriage to Sam Asghari.
Last week, Sam Asghari, the fiance of Britney Spears, claimed that the couple will have an “ironclad prenup” when they get married.
“Thank you to everyone who is concerned about the prenup. Of course, we’re getting an ironclad prenup to protect my Jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day,” he posted on Instagram.
Fans are worried that Britney could lose everything if she marries Sam without getting a prenuptial agreement. The couple announced their engagement last week after dating for almost four years. He was seen buying a ring earlier this month.
Now they can relax. Her money will be safe.
“He’s ready for marriage and kids with Britney and is serious about the relationship. She wants to take that next step and have that full life with him,” a source told People in June. “As a couple they’ve hidden how they’ve really felt even from people close to them because they were anxious and scared, but now it’s all out there.”
