Despite working at Nordstrom throughout college (and giving a large part of my paycheck back to the retailer), I find myself rarely visiting the store IRL. As a Gen-Z fashion editor—I’m a full fledged online shopper. I love to scroll through TikTok for product recommendations and surf through online reviews like it’s my job, but recently decided I was overdue for some in-person shopping. After a few hours of trying things on and one trip to the Nordstrom cafe, I found plenty of pieces that I wanted to take home with me. Surprisingly, there were even pieces that I probably wouldn’t give a second look online, but wanted to purchase immediately after trying on.
It can be overwhelming to navigate the Nordstrom website, so I hope my try-on can give you a little insight on what are worthy contenders. I compiled the list of my favorite picks so when you’re shopping online you can take my in-depth review into consideration. From cheap and trendy accessories to investment-worthy staples, there’s an option for everyone. I compiled a list of worthy contenders for whoever you’re shopping for right now. Keep scrolling for 42 Nordstrom items you don’t want to miss.
While I have an obsession with Staud, I actually didn’t think about buying this bag till I tried it on in person. The shape is unique, but it still seems like a versatile bag that I know will pair easily with any outfit. Even in a simple button-down, this handbag made my outfit look 5x more cooler.
I have been on the hunt for a leather jacket with a loose-fit for months, and I found my match with this $89 option from BlankNYC. I’m actually wearing a size XL—so if you want a more comfortable fit, I’d recommend sizing up.
Online, this may seem like a “boring” sweater, but it’s actually the item I immediately decided I’d be purchasing. It’s simple, but so incredibly soft that I actually considered walking out of the store wearing it. I went for a size large to have a more comfier fit, but I think it would still look just as great with a slimmer fit. I’m really sensitive when it comes to fabric so this was a no-brainer purchase.
I love my Longchamp Le Pliage, but I’m really intrigued by this one for the summertime. I already have a plain market bag, but I think this one just adds that “cool girl on vacation in Europe” vibe that I want to emulate in the warm weather.
I know wedge heels have made a comeback, and I wasn’t entirely sure about the trend till I tried on this pair. It reminds me of much higher priced designer options I’ve seen.
Yes, summer is coming but the chillier spring days are still among us, and this is the lightweight jacket you need for the transitional weather. It’s extremely lightweight so it doesn’t feel like too much, and comes in the perfect neutral.
I love my tops oversized, but I would actually recommend sizing down for this one. Other than that, it’s a great shirt to have, especially for the spring and summer. I can see this over a swimsuit, tucked into jeans, and layered over an easy tank. I’m wearing a medium in this, but I’d probably opt for a small if they had it in store.
This has been my dream bag for a long time, and seeing it IRL just confirmed that I need it. It fits easily over your shoulder with room, is as plush as it looks, and can fit all my necessities.
When summer approaches, I can’t resist a pair of trendy and cheap sunglasses . This olive green pair looks like a brown designer pair I own, but I like to get cheaper statement sunglasses to add a fun touch to my otherwise minimal summer outfits.

Can you believe I’ve never owned white jeans till now? I’ve always been a Levi’s girl at heart, and finally decided that a pair of white jean is something I need in my closet. I sized up as this style was a little bit more snug than my usual Levi’s. They’re sturdy but also comfortable, which is why I always prioritize Levi’s when shopping for denim.
While I love furry bucket hats in the fall and winter, canvas and crochet hats are my favorites for the warmer weather. This crochet option had my heart online, but it’s just as good IRL. I’d highly recommend buying it to add to your 2022 summer wardrobe.
I’ve never been a huge fan of the trucker jacket silhouette but this one changed my mind. The faux-leather is buttery soft and not cheap looking at all—it reminded me of the higher-priced leather pieces I own. I thought I’d want to go a size up but even in my own size (small) I still loved the fit and feel.
It’s hard not to fall in love with Staud’s bags, and this one also captured my heart at first sight. It’s a great party bag, or statement accessory to pair with more basic ‘fits.
Can you tell I live for a good summer accessory? Although this bag is teeny in size, it is mighty in style. It still fit my phone, keys, and lip-gloss which is all I need on most days.
While I normally love a heavy duty blazer, I like the feel of this one for the warmer months. It’s lightweight but extremely breathable. If you don’t want to let go of your blazers in the heat, this is the option for you. Like thinner fabrics, it does seem like it’ll wrinkle easily but that’s inevitable with fabrics that have less weight to them. I’d say it’s still worth it, just make sure you give it a good steam before you head out!
Nordstrom now stocks Paloma Wool, and I’m pretty excited about it. If I could call any dress “the perfect summer dress” it would be this one.
The silhouette of this makes it look ultra-luxe.
I think it’s time to give myself a Vans upgrade, and this checkered pair is classic.
These colors pair so well together.
Comfort is priority, and walking on a “cloud” sounds like comfort to me.
If you’re considering investing in a pair of jeans, Agolde is the brand to put at the top of your list.
To say I’m obsessed with this cardigan is an understatement.
Leave it to Staud to make me fall in love with yet another version of their Tommy bag.
A great layering piece.
Sleek.
I love my classic white Nike sneakers, but this pair is the fun touch I need.
Topshop is really popping off in the accessory department.
