Other than the fact that we know Millie Bobby Brown is returning, the show ends with Hopper leaving waffles in the woods. Unless Hopper is feeding a vegetarian bear or Millie is portraying a long-lost twin, we can count on Eleven’s return.

In order to save Will, Hopper betrayed Eleven and revealed her location to Dr. Brenner. However, there has to be more to it. He got into a mysterious car in the end, leaving many unanswered questions about said deal.

Unless there is some kind of twist involving the ten test subjects that came before Eleven, we can assume Terry Ives is her mother. But was Dr. Brenner really her father? Either way, it feels important to remember that Terry exists and is pretty far gone after being drugged and experimented on.
