Reese Witherspoon doesn’t want her kids to mince words – at least when it comes to giving fashion advice.
The Oscar winner and lifestyle entrepreneur revealed on Friday’s “Today” show that she gets style tips from her lookalike daughter, Ava.
“I usually ask my daughter, my 17-year-old daughter, ‘Does this look good?’ and she’ll be honest with me,” Reese told “Today” co-host Jenna Hager Bush. “She’ll be like, ‘No. You do not look good. You cannot wear that.’ So I depend on her brutal honesty.”
The 40-year-old also relies on her little ones to keep her up to speed with current technology, including social media. Despite the generation gap, Reese shared how she’s learned to make sure she’s on the same page with Ava and almost 13-year-old son Deacon as often as possible.
“I’ve discovered that they will Snapchat me back, but they will not call me back,” Reese said of the teens, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.”And I think it’s important for people to communicate well with their children.”
Ava and Deacon aren’t the only members of Reese’s mini-me squad – although their third Musketeer has a few years to catch up. The actress and Draper James founder also has a 4-year-old son, Tennessee, with husband Jim Toth.
