Zara's Shoes Are Elite—21 Expensive-Looking Pairs I'm Adding to My Wish List

I tend to scroll through the Zara app the way I do Instagram—gaining endless outfit inspiration and ending up with a wish list as long as my arm. But when I was looking through the ‘new in’ section yesterday, there seems to be one item I want in particular right now: shoes

There’s no doubt about it, the high-street hero is pulling out all the stops to secure every new season trend. When it comes to ballet flats, the key style has been ticked off with Mary Janes, lace-up-the-leg version and even sequin adorned pairs. And as for boots, there’s biker, cowboy and slouchy knee-high boots that scream autumn from every angle. If heels are more your thing, it’s all about throwback styles—peep-toes, kitten heels and slingbacks are among the could-be-vintage pairs that can all be found on the Zara homepage. And I—a self-proclaimed shoe addict—can’t wait any longer to snap up these new season offerings. Sure, I’m going to need to invest in a bigger shoe storage solution, but it’ll be worth it to add these pairs to my repertoire.

Forget designer iterations for a moment, Zara’s new shoes are a worthy alternative to get the same look on a smaller budget—scroll down to shop my favourite flats, boots and heels.

Simple, yet oh so very chic.

These look way more expensive than they are.

Because #Balletcore is still in full swing.

I’ve been looking for new loafers, and this gold coin style is the one.

Wear these with baggy jeans and a waistcoat.

No doubt you’ll want to style these with white socks to keep them preppy.

Love these with a crisp shirt and tailored trousers.

Cowboy boots are huge news right now.

Berry boots get a firm yes.

Dip your toe into buttery soft shades for autumn.

Biker boots are about to overtake the chunky Chelsea this season.

A sleek, slouchy knee-high will go with every dress and skirt you own.

These will make any summer dress work for autumn.

The perfect hybrid between the biker and the cowboy.

No one will believe these are high street.

These look like they could have been thrifted.

Kitten heels are back in a big way.

Silver accessories are still a must.

Add these to a mini skirt and sweater look.

Another retro shoe making a comeback: The T-bar.

I didn’t know I would like a peep-toe again, but I love these.
