If there is one brand as a beauty editor that I genuinely (and regularly) recommend to everyone, it’s Beauty Pie. It’s not often that I say this, but it’s one of the few brands in which I’ve never tried a bad product, and I get excited whenever the brand launches a new product—you could say I’m a Beaty Pie fan-girl.
It’s not your average beauty brand, so I often get a lot of questions about how Beauty Pie works. Founded by Marcia Kilgore (who is also the brains behind Bliss, FitFlop and Soap & Glory, FYI), Beauty Pie is essentially a beauty buyer’s club that you pay a small fee to be a part of, which allows you to access to premium beauty products at a far more affordable price point. So how does it work?
You see, many luxury beauty brands have a lot of factors that contribute to the price you pay when you tap checkout. A £200 moisturiser may only cost the brand £40 to make. However, add on marketing costs, the expense of a paying a celebrity ambassador, advertising and the overheads associated with stocking a product in a retailer, and you can see how quickly the costs rack up—which we end up paying for. Beauty Pie, on the other hand, removes the middleman, meaning you’re paying the cost of the product direct from the factory and the savings are passed on to you. Genius, right? The brand even tells you what you’d typically pay for the product if you were to buy it with the mark-up. While you do have to pay a fee to access member prices, it quickly adds up with the savings you make.
I’ll admit, I was sceptical at first that the formulas wouldn’t be on par with some of the luxury brands I’ve tried. But, I stand corrected. Now, there are several Beauty Pie products that I can’t bear to be without in my bathroom and makeup bag. If you’re wondering what te best Beauty Pie products are, I’ve compiled the brand’s bestsellers below, as well as some of my favourites.

Featherlight by name, featherlight by nature, it glides onto the skin without any stickiness or white cast, and it offers an impressive combination of broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, as well as SPF 50. It works well under makeup, too.

In fact, it reminds me a lot of another expensive serum on the market, which makes it incredible that it’s just £44 for members (or £185 for non-members). If you want glowing, bouncy and plump skin, I implore you to try this. It has 15 active ingredients that actually give you visibly results when you use it consistently. Lines are softened, skin looks firmer and glowing with hydration. I’ve just run out of my bottle and I’ll be stocking up imminently.

Made in Switzerland (where much of the best skincare is made), it helps to plump skin, hydrate, soften lines, boost elasticity and brighten. This kind of formula would typically cost you £120, however this one is a steal at £19 for members.

Using tubing technology, it forms a coating around each lash for a glossy formula that doesn’t budge throughout the day until you wash it off (speaking of which, it can be removed with just warm water). This mascara is a favourite among Beauty Pie’s members for it’s formula that leaves lashes lengthened and curled all day.

This serum’s hero ingredient is niacinamide, which is renowned for evening the complexion and boosting the skin barrier while helping to make pores appear smaller too—it’s truly a wonder ingredient for a whole range of skin concerns. The addition of antioxidants leave skin looking radiant and clear.

My skin is prone to dehydration but this is like a tall glass of water to quench the complexion. It contains a cocktail of hydrating and plumping ingredients that leave my skin looking instantly plumped and hydrated. If you want a really hydrating serum that also plumps the skin, you’ll love it too. In fact, Beauty Pie have only included proven ingredients that actually make a difference to the skin: three weights of hydrating hyaluronic acid, plumping polysaccharides, skin-soothing ceramides and plumping peptides.

Retinol is one of the few ingredients that is proven to work on signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and skin firmness. This sophisticated formula would typically cost £170, but Beauty Pie’s offering is just £44—a very reasonable price in comparison to other retinoids on the market.

Formulated in Japan, where some of the most innovative skincare is created, this gel-cream innovation is packed with hydration-boosting electrolytes, skin-plumping peptides and fermented kombucha that benefits the skin barrier too. It helps to lock in moisture while delivering plumping peptides, brightening niacinamide and extracts to soften and smooth the skin. A great moisturiser if you want to target signs of ageing without a huge price tag.

Inside the generously sized tub is thick and buttery moisturiser that envelops skin in a luxurious layer of hydration. My limbs have never been so silken as when I have been using this. The formula contains micro-droplets of nourishing oils that are suspended in water, meaning you benefit from all the hydration without any of the stickiness you get with some heavy body moisturisers. It’s gently scented with orange, geranium and tonka bean and it will have you scraping out every last drop from the tub. I’m hooked.

Whether you experience acne on your body, or have those stubborn bumps on the backs of your arms, this body wash swiftly reduces them with an exfoliating formula of salicylic acid, papaya enzymes and other ingredients that leave your skin clear but not stripped. You can also use it as a facial cleanser too. Thanks to the 400ml size, this will last you for ages too.

It features an impressive list of nourishing oils (macadamia, jojoba, peach kernel, rosehip, wheat germ, olive and rice oils) which work wonders on lacklustre hair. Simply apply a few drops before blowdrying for a smooth and sleek result, or apply on dry hair when needed to revive dull lengths and tame flyaways.

It smells just like freshly laundered linen, a bouquet of lavender and magnolia and a breeze of fresh air through an open window. It fills the room and isn’t overbearing; it makes your home smell like you’ve cleaned it top-to-toe. I’m going to be stocking up on this again and again at this price.

I like to mist onto my skin after cleansing and before applying a serum for an extra shot of hydration and glow-giving antioxidants.

Thankfully, Beauty Pie has sourced these very reasonably priced ones which are gentle and won’t leave kinks in your hair. I like to tie my hair with these before bedtime, or on off-duty days around the home I’ll my hair into a bun with one. I’ve noticed a lot less breakage since using them.
