It's My Job to Find Amazing Shopping Picks—These 9 New Buys Are Too Good to Miss

What to Buy Now is a concise weekly edit of the items I really love, including pieces from the high street, designer labels, vintage gems you can buy online and charity-shop treasures. I’m constantly scanning the most stylish online stores, so you can feel safe knowing that you won’t miss a thing.

I know that your fashion requirements can vary massively from season to season (and day to day), so whether you’re looking for an immaculately tailored staple, affordable knitwear or the perfect pair of shoes, I take my responsibilities as Who What Wear’s shopping editor very seriously, and I’ve saved you plenty of scrolling time by putting together an edit of pieces that will look just as fresh in a year’s time as they do now.

Of course, there’s also plenty of the pieces that simply set your heart racing in a way that only fashion can. Right now, the shops are full of seasonal essentials that are perfect for summer, and this week’s edit includes plenty of wardrobe gems, like the Grenson sandals that our editors love, and the Posse dress that is a guaranteed bestseller. So keep scrolling down to shop the exciting new buys on my wish list this week. You know what to do.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen this chic dress crop up on Instagram in the last couple of weeks. The perfect piece for summer in the city or evenings by the beach.

New from Loewe, the Puzzle Fold Tote is a sizable update on our editor’s favourite handbag. Wear now with a slip dress and sandals, or add a blazer for an evening dinner date.

There’s nothing quite like a chic co-ord for an easy, warm-weather look that’s guaranteed to invite compliments.

I haven’t stopped thinking about these incredible earrings since I first saw them. Statement accessorising at its finest.

Sorry, straight-leg. The carrot jean is about to be the next big denim trend.

And just like that, I’m happy to trade in maxi skirts for this cute summer mini. Just add a tank top and sandals.

The most popular trend of summer 2022? Without a doubt, the tank top–and thanks to Massimo Dutti it’s back for another year in wishlist-worthy colours and styles.

I’m officially a card carrying member of the “dad sandals” club, but even sceptics will be talked around by this elevated suede pair from Grenson.

Long skirts are having a moment right now, but House of Dagmar’s full, A-line silhouette stands out from the crowd (for all of the right reasons).

Weightless seersucker that’s sure to keep you cool on balmy vacations and summer in the city.

If Reina Olga’s Spring/Summer collection doesn’t make you want to immediately book a flight, I don’t know what will. Time for me to dust off my suitcase…

Is it just me, or has the last few days been one long heatwave? As I don’t plan on wearing jeans in 25 degree heat, this light, flowy jumpsuit is top of my list for alfresco evenings.

Elleme’s signature tote looks even better in seasonal raffia and hand-stitched leather. A strong contender for It bag of the season.

For lessons in Scandi styling, take a deep dive into Holzweiler’s latest pre-fall drop. You’ll find cool-girl wardrobe staples like pretty summer dresses, chic separates, and plenty of laidback denim.

Call off the search! These classic cats-eye sunglasses are perfect size and shape for just about everyone.

The latest pieces from M&S’ summer collection have landed, and there’s plenty of the easy basics and wardrobe staples that you’ll rely on for seasons to come–just like this exceptional puff-sleeved dress.

If there’s a sleek, new crossbody bag on the market, you can bet I’m going find it, and this is the current frontrunner.

Loewe’s viral tank is now back in a bold new colourway. Just add linen trousers and a chunky sandal.

This summer’s biggest jewellery collaboration has arrived, and the Daisy London X Shrimps collection is a charming mix of the playfulness of Shrimps with Daisy’s elegant, everyday jewellery, all sustainably crafted in recycled silver and 18ct gold plate.

Packing for a holiday? Don’t forget to leave room for this pair of sandals in your suitcase, they’ll go with just about everything in your wardrobe.

Definitive proof that bandeau dresses aren’t just for evening wear (but they do make a day-to-night outfit wonder).

Whether it’s a heatwave or overcast, if there’s one thing you can rely on, it’s easy, warm-weather layering pieces like this.

Move over Carrie Bradshaw, there’s something about this shade of brown that makes this bodycon jersey dress look far more expensive than grey.

Reformation’s Mason pants are a Who What Wear editor favourite for their incredible fit, and the Olina are the summer-ready linen equivalent.

Now that’s what I call a covetable dress. How good is this shade of near cornflower blue?

Want to slip into something a little more comfortable? Saint Laurent’s effortless slides bring elegance to any look without compromising on comfort.

This new hobo bag proves it–Aspinal are experts in all kinds of covetable accessories.

Officially the best thing to happen to the waistcoat since the wide-leg trouser.

Far too good to keep on the beach.

The shape, the style, the colour. There’s nothing not to love about these incredible ultra-chic glasses from editor favourite Réalisation Par.

When one of France’s most popular brands teams up with one of Brazil’s most exciting designer collectives. you know you’ve got a killer collaboration on your hands. The Sézane X Farm Rio collection is the dose of sun we’ve been waiting for, but don’t expect sizes to hand around for long.

Sleek, chic and polished. You’re looking at the next It bag in the making.

The shoe trend we didn’t see coming is now celeb approved. Like them or loathe them, mesh shoes are everywhere right now, and I think it’s clear to see which camp I fall into. Thank you, Le Monde Beryl.

Diamonds may be forever, but enamel is trending in a big way right now, and this topaz necklace is enough to tempt you away from simple gold chains for the foreseeable.

I could easily have chosen 9 pieces of linen to make this weeks list as the cooling fabric is such a summer staple, but if anything makes the cut for comfort and style, it’s Sunday Archives Scarlet maxi skirt. A bias cut, figure skimming, fit and flare silhouette for a dressy take on the humble linen skirt? And the matching bralet? Pure perfection.

It’s almost impossible to choose a favourite piece from H&M’s new-in section, but this excellent pair of flat sandals are as good a place as any to start (especially at that price).

We already love Dragon Diffusion’s woven basket bags, but their new leather slides are just as covetable.

It might be heating up outside, but we’ve still got room in our wardrobes for a fine knit dress that won’t require a jacket.

They haven’t been around for long but expect sizes to sell out soon, a testament to the M&S ballet pumps’ chic design and perfect construction. Thank you, high-street.

Mesh pumps are having a moment, and it’s only a matter of time before net is next.

I can’t help it, I’m sandal-obsessed–and Hereu might just have given me my favourite pair of the year so far.

Back due to popular demand, Dragon Diffusions woven totes are an unmistakable hit, and we celebrate every time there is a restock.
