The fact some companies source designer fashion items for customers, and most of the business is conducted via social media, says a lot about how people prefer to shop nowadays. Now that people can immediately post what they’re wearing on Instagram and TikTok for all the world to see, the It items everyone wants are far more popular. After all, the more we see something (and the harder it is to find), the more we want it. It’s from this series of events that an It item is born.
The problem is that finding these It items can feel impossible when they’re at their peak. But you can occasionally get lucky (or obsessively spend all your free time scouring the internet). As a fashion editor, it’s my job to know where to get everything that’s cool, but finding It items in stock just so happens to be one of my special skills. There’s no point in keeping all of these items to myself since I, unfortunately, can’t buy them all, so I’m sharing my most recent in-stock It item finds with you. You’re welcome.
Toteme’s T-Lock bag is pretty much the quiet-luxury It bag of the year, and it’s always sold out. I’m partial to the clutch size as it’s perfect for day or night, and luckily for all of us, it was recently restocked on Matches.
Alaïa flats are on every fashion girl’s wish list (because look at them). The fishnet iteration is still hard to come by, but the newly released cut-out ones are available in select sizes.

Miu Miu pieces aren’t easy to get in the U.S. But it’s even harder to snag an It bag from the brand. The pocked shoulder bag you’ve likely seen all over Instagram is a hot commodity, but I found supply in several colors.
I think we can all agree that Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Sneakers are the new It sneakers. They’re also very hard to find in the smaller sizes that women typically wear. If you’re willing to pay more than retail, you can get them on StockX.
Loewe pretty much started the raffia trend, and the logo basket totes the brand released this year is wildly popular. The mini size, in particular, is quite hard to find, but I spotted it on Mytheresa in black.
Gucci’s crystal mesh slingbacks already have a cult following, but the brand recently released them in a stunning orange grosgrain iteration. The only place I could find them on the internet is Saks.
Jimmy Choo’s strappy heart-embellished heels are one of the prettiest shoe releases of the year. Accordingly, they’ve been flying out of stock. But good news: I found them in pink at Bloomingdale’s.
