After the over the top American Royal wedding of the year of the stunning daughter of musical legend Lionel Richie to the adorable british music executive that sent the internet into a tizzy and raised Sofia’s instagram followers upwards of 2 million, she has been crowned full it-girl status. The sofia-richification of my wardrobe started right then and there. The thing I love about Sofia’s style is that it’s chic, elevated, and oh so luxe while still having a youthful feeling, as she is still only 24 years old. She has this sophisticated b but not stuffy vibe going on and I’m all about it. As someone who is also 24 years old, I decided to not let the whole “not-a-nepo-baby-of-a-music-legend” thing hold me back from entering my it-girl era and just start dressing like one. As they always say, you don’t dress for the job you have, you dress for the job you want.
