In case you missed it, I recently shared my luxury guide to Switzerland, which includes a section on the most famous (and most stylish) ski resort in the world: St. Moritz. Did you know that the town is considered the birthplace of winter tourism? As the story goes, in 1864, hotelier Johannes Badrutt suggested that a group of British aristocrats visit St. Moritz in the winter, and if it wasn’t just as enjoyable as their summer trips, he’d give them their money back. Needless to say, Badrutt won his wager, as the tourists were bowled over by St. Moritz’s year-round sunny climate.
Now, over 150 years later, St. Moritz continues to attract posh tourists, including plenty of celebrities and royals. But even your everyday skiers are exceptionally well-dressed, as I witnessed first-hand on the slopes. I noticed a handful of ski brands all over town—scroll down to shop them all.
