That’s hot. Paris Hilton closed out Versace’s SS23 show this weekend in Milan wearing a shimmery pink mini dress, a hot pink veil, fingerless pink gloves, and pink heels. With the Y2K aesthetic in full swing, who better to showcase an elevated take on the time period’s fashion than the princess of the 2000s herself?
The Versace SS23 collection is itself an ode to powerful, confident women like Hilton. The clothes tell that story, but so does the makeup—most of the models sported elongated purple smoky eyes meant to draw attention (all using Pat McGrath Labs products).
“The collection features styles that can go from high-end glamour to hard-edged freedom,” the brand shared in a press release. “The makeup exposes subversive beauty that provokes creativity without limitations. Complementing the collection, the makeup unveils a triad of looks with shades of black, purple and hints of fuchsia. The eye looks are exaggerated into an elongated, textured jeweled smoke with matte finishes layered with sparkling shimmer. The lip look reveals the ultimate vicious venom with a bold, dark mouth using a custom mix of cream paints. The decadent drama of this season reveals Gothic Goddesses that use without caution.”
Not only was Hilton’s closing outfit markedly different from the rest of the collection, but her makeup also stood out. Makeup artist Steven Tabimba for Pat McGrath Labs opted to lean into the Barbiecore aesthetic of her clothing by creating a look that wouldn’t be out of place on an actual Barbie doll. Tabimba opted for glowing skin, a streamlined cat eye and bubblegum pink, glossy lips.
The end result is fit for a wedding at the Barbie Dream House—and we can’t stop thinking about the glamorous look. Luckily, Tabimba and Pat McGrath labs shared the exact products used on Hilton for this soon-to-be-iconic look, so you can recreate her makeup seamlessly. Keep reading to see every product used.
