My Stylish 58-Year-Old Aunt and I Agree—These 11 Pieces Are a Must This Spring

My aunt and I are constantly texting each other about items on our ongoing wishlists. Don’t believe me? Check out this recent story I wrote proving it. She has always had such amazing style and is a huge part of the reason why I initially became interested in this industry. With that said, I still look up to her and value her sartorial opinion more than I do with most people. So, when we launched Who What Wear Collection, you know I was on her case about which pieces she was loving most and vice versa. She already owns so many of the best pieces from the line, but it is definitely time for a little WWWC refresh in light of the upcoming spring season.

After sifting through the site together, we narrowed down our favorite must-have items to 11. This list includes dresses, knitwear, and trendy basics with a few strong alternate options and colors along the way. The fact that she and I agreed on each of the items below proves the timelessness and versatility of the collection. If I can wear it and my 58-year-old aunt can, then anyone can. Happy shopping!

This dress shows just the right amount of skin and is the perfect definition of a trendy basic. My aunt said she would style this under a long shacket with chunky boots for a more casual look while I would prefer to dress it up with a vintage kitten heel.

My aunt and I both love baseball hats, so when we saw the way these classic trousers were styled, we were sold. The ways you can style these pants is endless which is exactly what makes them a smart purchase.

This wavy cardigan is the one top my aunt loves wearing with her jeans the most. Me on the otherhand? I, of course, love pairing it with the matching skirt for a look that makes more of a statement.

These faux leather pants are everything. They feel so soft and look ten times more expensive than they are. While the black pair might be the “safer” choice, this latte color has won the hearts of both me and my aunt. We love an unexpected hue and while these are exactly that, they are also insanely wearable.

If you’re looking for more pieces in your closet that will grant you compliments galore, look no further. This corset bodysuit is a showstopper time and time again. I love how our editor, Eliza, styled hers above, but if it were up to my aunt, she would layer it underneath a big button-down shirt and slip some slouchy trousers on to finish off the look.

From the price to the color, this dress is constantly proving to be 100% worth it. My aunt is always going to formal events so buying this dress was a no-brainer. I, however, just love any excuse to buy fun dresses so I didn’t think twice when this baby dropped on the site.

Stay cozy in style with this comfortable knit top. Whether you’re working from home or need a presentable yet easy outfit to run errands in, this sweater fits the bill. My aunt loves matching sets because they truly take the work out of getting dressed, and I couldn’t agree more.

Speaking of comfortable knits, we both agreed that this simple and elegant skirt is the next must-have on our list. From the color to the silhouette, it really is the definition of versatile.

This sweater is styled more for winter in the above photo, but trust me, its thickness is so suitable for the spring season as well. I love throwing my sweaters around my shoulders for a fun styling element, but my aunt is always cold, so sweaters in the spring are a must-have for her always.

This gathered knit dress is the perfect frock to throw on with strappy sandals for a fun spring day. My aunt would definitely style these with converse or loafers, which proves there are many occasions perfectly suited for this knit dream.

Last but not least, we have this gorgeous faux-leather dress. The great thing about this dress is that it has so many cool details, it basically styles itself, meaning wearing it will take little to no effort on your end.
