The rapper was arrested in June following a traffic stop. After the incident, his mother and manager Stasia Mac tweeted that he’d told her that multiple police cars were tailing his vehicle after a release party for Hall of Fame. Polo G was riding with his younger brother and a friend at the time. She says he was racially profiled.

“They stopped them because they were driving while Black,” she tweeted. Polo G was released on $19,500 bail. However, the rapper is still facing two misdemeanor charges of resisting an officer without violence.
