If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been putting off coat shopping for the last few weeks in the hopes that winter—and in turn, cold weather—would never actually arrive. Unfortunately, that was only a pipe dream, and winter is, in fact, almost here. So before the first day of true coat weather catches us all off guard, I decided to get to work on my outerwear shopping and take you along for the ride.
For this particular endeavor, I have a few tried-and-true destinations that I count on every year to have plenty of covetable coat options. The stores that never fail me? Zara, H&M, and Shopbop. With a wide range of price points and styles, these three retailers are no-brainers when it comes to outerwear shopping (well, all shopping, really).
