A text message exchange between Kanye West and Soulja Boy shows that their beef has been squashed.
“Yo It’s Ye. Love you bro. I should have told you I wasn’t gonna use the verse,” Ye wrote to Soulja.
Soulja Boy responded, “Love you too bro. That’s all I wanted.”
Last week Soulja Boy went off on a rant against Kanye West after Ye hinted that the rapper’s recorded verse for “Remote Control” was left off the Donda album because it was trash.
“Don’t text me and say that verse wasn’t good. Don’t get on no muthaf*ckin’ public platform and say different from what the f*ck you told me to my face,” he yelled during his rant. “Tell me to my face that sh*t was trash bitch-ass f*cking scab-head a*s boy. Who cut your hair?”
“F*ck n*gga, you said the verse was hard. Why the fuck you ain’t text my phone. You not finna baby me with some Soulja Boy is the future. You said my verse wasn’t hard n*gga! Everything that come out my mouth is hard, n*gga! What the f*ck is you talking about, Kanye West? N*gga, yo album was trash.”
