Rapper G-Eazy has avoided jail time after striking a plea deal in his assault case from earlier this year.
The rapper pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct. He was originally charged with misdemeanor assault and assigned to a diversion program.
The rapper must also complete three Manhattan Justice Opportunities sessions.
The rapper’s entourage clashed with another group of partygoers at the Standard hotel.
After midnight, “something set someone off” before a member of G-Eazy’s crew hit socialite Daniel Chetrit — a friend of Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid — over the head with a bottle. G-Eazy was “charged with assault after a 29-year-old male and 32-year-old male reported being struck by the defendant.” Nobody was hospitalized following the attack.
G-Eazy faced embarrassment earlier this year after leaked audio from G-Eazy’s management team appears to show them planning to buy their way to the top — by buying streams.
His team denied the allegations.
