Yella Beezy was arrested in Collin County on three charges of sexual assault, abandoned endangered child and unlawful carrying a weapon.
The rapper was booked into the Collin County jail Friday and released on a $57,500 bond, according to jail records.
Beezy has had several brushes with the law.
In August, he was arrested in Texas on misdemeanor gun and felony drug charges.
The rapper also caught a weapons charge in February — but said that was a set-up. Beezy shared a video of police searching an SUV on social media. At the time, cops stopped the rapper outside of a Dallas mall for failing to stop at an intersection. They also wrote that the windows were “tinted too heavily.”
Cops say they then found 5 guns in Beezy’s possession. His warrant reads that the rapper is “a documented gang member and therefore cannot legally possess any handguns in his car.”
“They stay fwm,” the video was captioned. Beezy was taken into custody for felony possession of drugs and for unlawfully having a weapon, a misdemeanor.
