I’m an accessory person. While I clearly adore clothes and enjoy experimenting with trends in that department, I always gravitate toward bags, shoes, and jewelry first when I’m shopping. What can I say—it’s all about the details for me. More often than not, you’ll find me in a pretty simple outfit (like a black sweater and jeans) that I elevate even more with eye-catching extras. I’m so into tinted shades right now. In fact, Sunglass Hut is marking its 50th anniversary, and Chanel Iman is working with the brand to celebrate. She’s into the trend, too. “The Versace sunnies from the limited-edition collection are one of my favorites,” she said. “They encapsulate all the ’70s vibes with black frames, bright-orange tint, and the Versace gold emblems on the rim.”
Kerchiefs in various prints and colors were a staple for many throughout the summer months (as you can see here), and the trend will carry on through this season as a special way to bring a directional feel to a silhouette.
Big tote bags ruled the runways. While I still love a mini bag, I’m personally into this trend because of the functionality—you can fit legit everything inside.
