The cast of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta just got a lot more interesting. MTO News confirmed that Angela Simmons, daughter of Rev Run, will be joining the Bravo show. She and another new cast member have been “testing” with the show for weeks, and have finally been given the green light to join.
According to multiple sources, Angela is friends with the other new cast member, female rapper Light Skinned Keisha. Here’s a music video with Light Skin Keisha’s music:
Both Angela and Light Skinned Keisha both got their reality show start on other reality show.
Keisha joined the cast of Love And Hip Hop Atlanta in season nine. Her storyline involved her promote ther album “Talk That Talk” . She preformed at Atlanta’s music museum at the premiere of her episode.
As time went on in the season, she developed “beef” with Bambi and Akbar and developed a friendship with Tokyo Vanity. Keisha and Bambi’s beef stemmed from Keisha dating one of Bambi’s friends ex boyfriend that Keisha allegedly “stole”.

Angela Simmons has been a reality show star since her teenage years. Most recently, Angela has been a part of the Growing Up Hip Hop franchise.
This is the first time in Bravo’s history that they’ve brought in reality stars from other popular franchises.
We spoke with a person close to production and they told MTO News, “We needed to do something to change the energy of the cast members. It’s risky, but we hope it’s going to work.”

So far it appears to be working. MTO News has learned that despite being friends before joining the show – the two ladies have already been arguing and beefing with each other in front of the cameras.
In addition to the new gals, Bravo is bringing back Sheree, Marlo, Kenya, Kandi, and Drew to the show.
