The Boot Trend Celebrities Are Wearing on Repeat This Season

Oftentimes, the “celebrities, they’re just like us” adage applies to what they wear, especially when it comes to shoes. They love a good pair of walkable, versatile shoes… just like the rest of us. And the time has come for them to ditch their Birkenstocks and other foot-exposing shoes in favor of more weather-appropriate ones. Translation: It’s time for boots.

You may recall that all anyone wanted to wear last winter were lug-sole Chelsea boots. This winter is similar but a little different. What we’re seeing celebrities embrace thus far is a little less specific: platform boots. Some have laces or zippers, some have lug soles, some have small platforms, and others have thick platforms. Whichever specifics they choose, it’s clear that they’re craving cool, comfortable boots that offer a little height. And honestly, same.

Ahead, we collected some examples of celebs like Olivia Rodrigo, Zoë Kravitz, and Emily Ratajkowski wearing platform boots and shopped out some of the season’s best styles.
