Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather turned down a teenage boy’s request to take a photo with him because the teen’s nails were painted.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred after the Clippers vs. Grizzlies game at Staples Center on Saturday. When the boy approached him, Floyd saw his nail polish and refused.
“You got painted nails, I don’t take pictures with guys with no painted nails,” Floyd says in the video and gets his security guards to make the boy fall back.
The fan is upset. “Floyd doesn’t want to take a picture with me because my nails are painted. Bruh, really?!”
Hours later, a rep told TMZ that he didn’t take the photo because he was in a rush to leave the game. The rep denies Floyd is homophobic. Other witnesses say Floyd took pictures with several other fans after the game.
