Judge Refuses To Dismiss Sexual Assault Charges Against Marilyn Manson

A judge has refused Marilyn Manson’s motion to dismiss the charges of sexual assault against him.

Manson’s attorneys submitted the motion to dismiss in July, stating that Game of Throne’s actress Esme Bianco’s allegations of sexual assault were “time-barred by more than seven years” under California’s statute of limitations. Bianco claimed that the star raped her and that he was verbally abusive.

“My hope is that this ruling empowers other survivors to pursue justice for themselves while signaling to abusers that they cannot bully victims into silence,” Bianco said in a press release.

She says that she “suffered due to the deterioration of her mental health caused by Mr. Warner” and that she “deals with complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, and panic attacks to this day as a result.”

She was one of the multiple women who have accused the rock star of abuse. Manson has repeatedly denied all of the allegations against him.
