Arlington Texas school shooting suspect Tim Simpkins celebrated after being freed from the County Jail on a $75,000 bond, while some of his alleged victims remained hospitalized MTO News has learned.
The 18-year-old Tim went on social media yesterday, and posted pics of himself enjoying a welcome home party with relatives one day after allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy “seven or eight times”, a teacher Calvin Pettitt in the back and grazing a teenage girl at Timberview High School.
Here’s video from the party:
Pictures of Tim were posted all across social media – showing him enjoying a gathering in his family’s kitchen, clutching a baby and embracing others.
Tim is facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
But as Tim enjoys being his freedom, Timberview English teacher Calvin Pettitt – who was allegedly an innocent bystander – is in the hospital after taking a bullet in his shoulder that narrowly missed his aorta.
Timothy’s alleged main target – a 15-year-old boy – was struck multiple times and is listed in critical condition at a hospital.
According to police, Tim also shot a teenage girl who was been hospitalized, but is in good enough condition to have been discharged.
A fourth victim, a pregnant teacher, was injured in a fall but was treated at the scene and wasn’t taken to a hospital.
Teacher Calvin’s sister, Grace Rinearson, said Tim’s bullet narrowly missed the teacher’s aorta, leaving him with broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
“Feeling extremely blessed and thankful. Please hold you loved ones close, this is a crazy world we’re living in,” she had tweeted.
She posted a frustrated tweet after Simpkins’ release: “How can this keep managing to get worse,” she wrote.
