Rapper JayDaYoungan got a jail employee fired after he revealed that a recent jail pic shared to his Instagram was taken by a jail employee.
According to The Advocate, jail warden Heath Martin says the Amite City jail employee violated the jail protocol for interacting with inmates.
“Upon being notified of the posting of the photo, we immediately investigated,” Martin told The Advocate. “Investigations proved an employee took the picture just before his release. This employee was terminated for violating policy the same day.”
JayDaYoungan was arrested as an accessory to second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
Police say the charges are in connection to a deadly altercation at a trail ride last August that left one person dead and two more injured. The shooting involved two gangs. Reports say more than 100 people were in the area and multiple gunmen opened fire. Zion Hutcherson was killed by a stray bullet. JayDaYoungan’s bond was set at $175,000. He has already posted his bond and been released.
