Allow Us to Introduce You to the Next Crop of Fresh Fashion Influencers

As someone who’s worked in both the editorial and social media realms for over six years, I can tell you that discovery is the best part of the job. Whether it’s the latest knee-high boots or cool AAPI-owned brands, there’s something magical about what scrolling through the internet can unveil. But possibly the best discovery is a rising fashion influencer who feeds your need for work outfit inspiration or your new TikTok obsession. And with so many great fashion influencers out there, it’s hard to know who to follow. So I reached out to some of my favorite fashion influencers, and ahead, they’re sharing their favorite internet pastimes, personal style, and fall shopping lists. Whether they have 2000 followers or 20,000, these 23 fashion influencers will give your feed a breath of fresh air.

WHO: Kylee Walker, Fashion Content Creator. What three words would you use to describe your personal style? My style is constantly changing, and that’s something I love about fashion. However, I’d describe it as unique, funky, and artistic. What can people expect if they follow you on social media? My social media is used as an outlet to share my unique sense of style and inspire my followers on what to wear and how to style it. But I also love photography and love creating aesthetically pleasing photos. I put so much work into deciding what scene and background an outfit will go with and then executing my vision. What’s your favorite internet pastime? I am super into thrifting; one of my favorite places to shop is Depop. Depop can definitely elevate your style, as you can find the most unique vintage pieces at reasonable prices that no one else will have!

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently? I love long solid-colored trench coats. They are the perfect statement piece that gives a big pop of color.

I also want to invest in some brown loafers. Loafers are a fall staple, and brown ones would go amazing with a skirt and an oversize brown leather jacket, which is another item in my shopping cart!

WHO: Richlove Rockson, Plus-Size Fashion Influencer. What three words would you use to describe your personal style?  Elegant, casual, and high-fashion.  What can people expect if they follow you on social media?  They can expect fashion content, outfit ideas, and conversations around body positivity.  What’s your favorite internet pastime? My favorite internet pastime is watching inspirational and fun videos and memes on Instagram and TikTok! I also like to look at outfits online and try to re-create them for my figure. When in a styling rut, I look to other inspiring individuals (like @lizzobeeating, @irenadrezi, @mollymae, and @lateciat) who share positivity and are not afraid to wear what they want.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently? I am absolutely in love with this denim set combined with a matching vest and blazer from Boyish!

WHO: Shrutika Gavane, Fashion Influencer . What three words would you use to describe your personal style?  Minimal, chic, and trendy.  What can people expect if they follow you on social media?  When people follow me on Instagram, they can find a lot of minimal street style outfit pictures along with moody reels with some of my favorite music.  What’s your favorite internet pastime? You can’t go wrong with a leather blazer for fall, and this Zara one is at the top of my fall shopping list.

WHO: Lina S. What three words would you use to describe your personal style?  Tomboy, minimal, sometimes classy. What can people expect if they follow you on social media?  You can expect a lot of real and honest topics on life, relationships, and friendships from the perspective of a 26-year-old down-to-earth girl from a small town in Belgium who is slowly making a name for herself in the fashion world.  What’s your favorite internet pastime? It used to be Tumblr; that’s how I started sharing my sense of style on the internet. I was obsessed with the platform and made many friends with whom I am still in touch at the moment. Now it’s more Pinterest and my Instagram account, as I follow a lot of inspiring accounts that vary from fashion to fitness.

So from following me on Instagram, you will see my key investment pieces styled in lots of different ways to make them work for any occasion. I’m also a massive fan of a camera-roll dump! What’s your favorite internet pastime? Instagram is, without a doubt, my favorite internet pastime. (I avoid screen-time notifications at all costs.) Once I get past the endless dog and meme accounts I follow, I find @naomianwerr’s account a constant source of inspiration for styling—she can layer outfits like no other! I also love to follow the brand @palomawool. After adding a few of their pieces to my wardrobe, I can tell you it’s a slippery slope for the bank balance, and they’re guaranteed to get, “Where did you get those pants?” at least three times per wear.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently? This Ganni dress lives in my mind rent-free. I’d wear everything from rubber boots to New Balance sneakers with this dress; it’s perfect for every occasion. Plus, you can never be too dressed for the grocery store.

I found a lot of inspiration on different profiles, but a few of my favorites are @romeofashionfix, @by.regiina, @zarafredholm, and @imhannawhiting. I also mainly shop online. I find shopping directly in-store too tiring, and I prefer the quiet comfort of shopping on my couch.

I spend an increasingly (worrying) amount of time on TikTok. I love all the niche trends that come up in your algorithm. In terms of fashion TikTokers, I love Sara Camposarcone and Anna Golkayepez because they both share all the outfits they have bought secondhand in the United States. It makes me want to travel across the pond and get thrifting.
