Dr. Dre has been ordered to pay his estranged wife Nicole Young another $1.55 million in legal fees and costs.
The judge ruled that Nicole’s legal fees in the case so far would be $3 million, plus costs. That means the producer must pay $1 million in fees fees, plus another $550,000 in costs associated with the case.
Depending on how long the case drags on for, it could be more.
Earlier this month Dre sued Young for $350,000, alleging that she embezzled from his company, Recording One studio.
DIDDY SAYS HE’S BATTLING DR. DRE
He says they both had access to the “maintenance and control” of the business’ assets before their divorce but that she “decimated” his assets by allegedly “embezzling and stealing” $353,571.85 from the company’s account and used the money “for her own, personal obligations.”
Weeks back, Dre was ordered to pay $300,000 per month to Young in spousal support. “[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” Dre will pay a total of $3,519,672 per year until Nicole remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership.”
