Rapper Yella Beezy was arrested in Texas on misdemeanor gun and felony drug charges.
The rapper also caught a weapons charges in February — but he says that was a set-up. Beezy shared a video of police searching an SUV on social media. At the time, cops stopped the rapper outside of a Dallas mall for failing to stop at an intersection. They also noted that the windows were “tinted too heavily.”
Cops say they then found 5 guns in Beezy’s possession. His warrant reads that the rapper is “a documented gang member and therefore cannot legally possess any handguns in his car.”
“They stay fwm,” the video was captioned. He was taken into custody for felony possession of drugs and for unlawfully having a weapon, a misdemeanor, according to TMZ.
