British royal Prince Andrew is accused of being uncooperative in a case linked to late billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein.
David Boies, who represents his accuser Virginia Giuffre, says they have been trying to make contact with him for five years.
“We’ve reached out to Prince Andrew’s legal team, a number of times over the last five years, we’ve made an attempt to engage with him to give him an opportunity to tell his side of the story, to provide any explanation or context, that he might have for his actions to try to resolve this without the necessity of litigation,” Boies said to Sky News. “Every such effort has been rebuffed.”

Last year, F.B.I. agents and federal prosecutors in New York also said he was not cooperating.
“To date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation,” the prosecutor, Geoffrey S. Berman, said at the time.
There is a photograph of Prince Andrew standing alongside Ghislaine Maxwell. He has his arm around Victoria. She is reportedly just 17 in the picture. He denies all of the allegations.
