On Thursday, reports that part of Rolling Loud’s stage had crashed circulated online along with pictures.
The stage had been partially built at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Several huge names are scheduled to perform at the three-day festival this weekend, including Kanye West, Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky. After the pics went viral, the festival posted this tweet:
“In case you see it on the news, a screen fell down at one of our stages. Nobody was hurt and it will be fixed before doors open tomorrow. The show goes on!” Rolling Loud tweeted.
According to WSVN, some of the residents are worried about the festival taking place due to some of the past violent incidents in the past.
“What’s troubling is the history of violence that has often accompanied this weekend,” said Joe Magazine. “Headlining entertainers who have often brought violence to our communities just in recent weeks are then served with the privilege of having an elevated platform as well.”
Rolling Loud said the show will go on.
