‘Gorilla Glue Girl’ Tessica Brown Sends Cease & Desist Letters Over ‘Bad Idea’ Song

Gorilla Glue girl Tessica Brown has reportedly sent out cease and desist letters to the creators of the viral track, “Bad Idea,” as it uses a sample of her voice.

Tessica went viral after using industrial strength Gorilla Glue in her hair in place of her regular hair gel. She later had to have surgery to remove the hair and raised money on GoFundMe to pay for her treatment and aftercare.

The song was created by somebody named Cocoa Brown and went viral on TikTok and Instagram. Cardi B even got in on the action by posting a video of her daughter Kulture singing along to the track. Since the cease and desists were issued — the track has been removed from streaming services.

 “To the extent it becomes necessary, Tessica intends to seek the recovery of all penalties, statutory damages and punitive damages for such knowing infringement as applicable,” the letter reportedly reads.
