Lil Nas X suffered an awkward wardobe malfunction when his pants split during his performance of “Montero” during Saturday Night Live.
“I know I do a lot of planned sh*t but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them,” he tweeted Sunday morning.
Lil Nas X can be seen writing and grinding before heading to the back of the stage where there was a pole. he begins to gyrate around the pole before he bends and drops it low. His pants split — and the singer is seen covering his private parts with a sheepish look on his face.
The singer made headlines with the single earlier this year after he released Satan Shoes — custom Nike’s — but Nike had no parts of them. Nike filed a lawsuit against the makers over trademark infringement as they “were produced without Nike’s approval or authorization, and Nike is in no way connected with this project.”

The Satan Shoes each contain “one drop” of human blood. They used modified Nike Air Max 97s for the collaboration. Only 666 were made and they were on sale for $1,018.
